Lancia Fulvia 1963-1976 #2# Brooklands Gold Portfolio

The Fulvia saloon of 1963 was one of Lancia's first front-wheel-drive models. In its native Italy, it proved very successful, but its boxy styling did not win it many friends in the world's major markets. It was scarcely surprising, then, that the Fulvia saloon should have been one of the cars which disappeared from the Lancia range not long after Fiat bought the company out at the end of the 1960s.

However, Fiat did like the Fulvia's coupé derivative, an attractively-styled machine on a shorter wheelbase but using essentially the same running gear and powertrain. This had been introduced two years after the saloon, and it was already selling well in overseas markets. This was the kind of product which Fiat wanted, and so it kept the Fulvia coupé in production and, over the next few years, put out a bewildering variety of new model variants. The Fulvia coupé finally went out of production in 1976, by which time no fewer than 150,876 examples of all types had been made in 13 years of manufacture.

Back by popular demand this book covers the history of the Fulvia along with 50 articles including road tests, rallying, new model reports, buying used features, history and restoration for the following models:
