This is the first English language history of the Spa 24 Hour motor race, one of the world's classic endurance events, staged on the spectacular but demanding Spa-Francorchamps circuit in the beautiful Ardennes region of Belgium.

2014 was the 90th anniversary of this famous race and the story is brought right up to date with coverage of the 66th running of the event. Originally conceived in 1924 as an imitation of the Le Mans 24 Hours, the race gradually took its own individual course, covering through its history the Le Manstype sports cars, Touring cars and now the current GT cars.

The book is lavishly illustrated, with special care taken to show many of the less publicised but nevertheless interesting participants that contribute towards the colourful fabric of a truly rich part of motor racing history.

Specially drawn diagrams explain the changes in the layout of the circuit over the years and each chapter concludes with a section of "Further Facts" to fill in more background information.
